Trout continue to spawn in November and the lake starts to get a rest from anglers as winter sets in and storms become more frequent. The water level rises and falls quite quickly and thus it becomes more difficult to look after boats.

Anglers continue to fish for Pike throughout the winter months particularly around the mouths of the various rivers entering the system.
